Gift of Giving
Ignite the spirit of giving during the Holiday season. Helping Hands Resource, Inc is spreading holiday cheer with joyful giving. We are thankful for the blessings we are showered with, so our team and staff are committed to being a blessing to our community. Information and Forms Literacy Program:
Learning plan developed to help students understand the common information necessary to fill out or complete basic forms and being resourceful in finding information to solve problems.
Soup for the Soul(Helping Hands Homeless Hunger Project):
With your help through donations and volunteer efforts, we can provide a meal, warm clothing, and hygiene products to the homeless in our community.
A Safe Place in an Unsafe World Project: (Victims of crime and domestic abuse)
Provides resources and information on victim assistance services for victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, drunk driving and other crimes.
Girls on Fire (Empowering young girls to ignite their passion and purpose):
Empowering girls ages 8-18
in the Hampton Roads communities by providing resources, development opportunities, and exposure to growth experiences so they become independent, confident, and fearless young women making astounding contributions to society.
Boys to Men (Guiding and Mentoring boys to become productive young men with purpose):
Empowering boys ages 8-18 in the Hampton Roads communities by providing resources, development opportunities, and exposure to growth experiences so they become independent, confident, and productive young men making astounding contributions to society.
Achieve the Dream (Homeownership Education Project):
Buying a home is one of the most important
life decisions a person will make. Housing Education helps our clients determine if homeownership is
right for them. It also prepares them for what to expect as well as the responsibilities of
homeownership.
Veterans United (Assisting Veterans with need resources & allowing them to help rising recruits):
Connecting veterans to resources that will further enrich their lives after their dedicated service. All veterans are welcome to assist upcoming recruits to help navigate their journey by providing knowledge, referrals and personal insight to those interested in following that path.
Picture the Planet (Neighborhood Clean-up Initiative):
Making our neighborhoods a better place to live. Residents and local businesses positively impact our community neighborhoods by picking up trash, repairing and improving public spaces that have been neglected, vandalized, or misused.
Goodbye Summer, Hello School Project (School Supplies Drive):
